Runny poop, yellow, 5 times a day. Baby 5 weeks.

Not sure but my baby definitely does and always has! My HV said it’s not abnormal for baby to go poop as often as they’re fed which is basically the case for mine. Honestly sometimes a bit jealous of those with constipated babies 😅

How are you feeding? BF poo is generally runny and yellow. But if you’re concerned I would seek advice.

I was just about to post something similar but mine is more like 10 times a day still at nearly 6 weeks old. It’s not slowing down even at night 😩

My EBF goes more than 5 times a day! It slows down eventually.
My first child, also EBF, then went the opposite way when he was a couple of months old and would only poo once every few days!

If breastfed it is definitely normal. My LO has between 4-6 poos like that a day.

I think it’s normal for them to poo after every feed. If your concerned ask your HV or book an appointment with the GP but wouldn’t alarm me.

The only thing I can think of that might be a concern is a cows milk allergy but if they aren’t vomiting after every feed then it would make me avoid that assumption. If you eat a lot of dairy it can pass through breast milk.

It’s normal. Yellow with grains or orange colour. It’ll eventually change when their diet changes.
My LO is constant with it and it’s like water all the time. The second she gets a clean she can go again straight after (normal).
If it is chalky/ white then contact your GP immediately.

My baby is fed breast and a little formula.

If you’re ever unsure though, contact your HV. They will advise you x

If you’re breastfeeding, then that’s normal
