My little boy is a month old and struggling right now with a lot of wind mostly in his lower tummy so needing to trump a lot. He is mostly formula fed with the odd feeds on boob when I'm able to do it. I'm considering moving him from sma pro to sma comfort and wondering about people's opinions/experience. Do you think it's worth a go. I want to stay with sma if possible to reduce the liklihood of him getting an upset tummy with the formula change. I've tried anti colic drops but he doesn't agree with them and makes hum throw up lots. I'm 50/50 on grape water as I've honestly heard more bad things then good about it.

My little boy hasn’t been on any comfort milk etc but when he struggled with wind, I used to use gripe water in his bottle or infacol. I’d also pace feed him, so give him an ounce or two, burp, rest for a minute or so, then another ounce or two, burp, rest & so on until he was done. This really helped as he wasn’t getting a build up of wind, also lots of tummy massages & warm baths helped him xx

yeah we pace feed our little boy and have a slow flow teet to make sure he isn't guzzling it. Burp between each 30ml so one ounce, do tummy time and warm baths (he hates massages) and have used infacol but he doesn't react well to it at all unfortunately:( my next step is to try gripe water but I've been told by a few people they've had issues with their babys having constipation with it so next best thing I can think of is maybe a formula change. I even offer him a little cool boiled water between feeds to try help things move

My little boy was on cow and gate comfort and it was honestly a lifesaver! And mam bottles helped my son a lot too if you don’t have those xx
