Hello planning a baby moon and wondering if at 31 weeks a 6-hour flight will be achievable? I’m prepared to walk around the flight and wear compression socks. Would love to know others thoughts/ experiences before we decide! Thanks

I didn’t do that long but I did 3 hours at 31 weeks and honestly I felt absolutely fine. That week away was the best I felt my whole pregnancy 😂.
Just make sure you get your fit to fly signed in due time and check your airline rules. I had to print out their form from the website and get it signed I couldn’t just get a letter from my doctor x

I did a 5 hour flight at 31 weeks and I was fine but did get a bit of swelling in my hands and feet. I did forget compression socks! It triggered carpal tunnel quite bad in my hands after the holiday but was really hot when I was there which didn’t help but I still have it now nearly 6 weeks postpartum

oh no! That doesn’t sound good! Sorry to hear it

we are thinking about Cape Verde which is hot in April!

We live in Manchester and my babymoon is in 2 weeks so I'll also be 31 weeks pregnant...we're going to Bolton 😅 ain't no way I've the patience to deal with airports or travelling, its a 40 min drive to a nice spa hotel, that'll do haha. Also feel comfortable knowing I can get to my hospital within an hour should anything happen

not sure we should go now! 🤦🏽♀️

I flew 3hrs at 35 weeks. Definitely compression socks, get up and move and drink lots of water!
