Hip / Groin pain

Anyone else experiencing really bad hip/groin pain but mainly on one side? I have some days where it’s really good and other days like today where I have an awful limp and it kills to walk!

I feel like baby dropped some too and now it seems even worse but also not sure if I just overdid it yesterday! It feels muscular. And it’s really bad to roll over in bed or especially the first steps walking when I get up from bed

Yes! I have it on both hips (depending on how long I’ve been laying or sitting). I wake up every 20-30 minutes needing to switch sides cause hip pain is so bad. And don’t get my started on groin and pelvic pain 😅 I am struggling SO bad! Most nights, it takes me 5 minutes minimum to do the side switches because the groin/pelvis pain is so horrible.

Mine is terrible some days and then when I turn my groin pops and makes it almost unbearable to turn!!

yes! Each time I go to the bathroom I switch which side I’m laying on because of the hip pain from whatever hip I’m laying on!!

But the groin pain is just sooo bad today! I’ve had some bad days before but I feel today is the worst it’s been! I feel like I can barely walk and especially right after I stand up my limp is SO bad!

Baby more than likely dropped then! For me, they noted the drops in my ultrasound and it lines up with my pelvic pain intensifying. I went to L&D a few weeks ago from the pain, they ended up giving me muscle relaxers for it.
Keep your head up, mama! This discomfort just means baby is getting more ready to meet you!! It’s definitely not fun but the reward is worth it 🫶🏼

Have you had any injuries or falls recently? I fell a couple weeks ago on my hip and it’s been acting up exactly as you describe since. Sometimes it’s fine but other times my right hip hurts so much and I can hardly walk especially the first few steps 😪 I even needed a sling for my arm for a week because of my fall

Avatar

nope! No falls or injuries. Every time I bring it up to my OB I get the typical “yea it’s just another pregnancy thing and take Tylenol” 🙄
Which for me Tylenol does NOTHING

Avatar

Gosh I get the same answer to any question I ask! 🤦🏻‍♀️ sick of hearing Tylenol and a warm bath as the answer lol

Mine hurt at night from laying on my sides. I’m constantly switching sides. Some nights are worse than others, and the pain lasts a few hours after waking up. I’m over it 😫

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

Hey what are your current symptoms?

I’m 37+5

I’m pretty mobile still but anything over a hour or 2 and I’m in discomfort

Getting up from a sitting position is hard

Some of baby’s movements now are bordering on painful especially around my crotch/pelvis

I’m exhausted very easily and nap every single day

Can basically only breathe out my mouth now and I’m snoring and dribbling 😂

Standing in one leg is very painful 😂

Some waves of pain/ tightening but I regular and mild

Low period type aches

And I feel like a fire breathing dragon with this acid reflux

My nose is growing 😂

My fingers swell slightly and go numbs in my sleep so that and constant toilet breaks keep me up ( checked swelling with MW and consultant and all normal, not a worry)

I also do not want to be social in person like I’d rather everyone just be my penpal atm lol

What are your symptoms?
