Does your little ones cry when you’re changing their nappy during the night? My little girl is waking up between 1/2am crying so I go in and soother her and calm her down and I also change her nappy and while doing this she’s literally screaming??

Has she pooed? Otherwise I would try not changing her nappy. If you get a decent nappy, they are super absorbent and can go 12 hours (made to last overnight) and rarely bother a baby. It’s worth using the size up too. I’d say she might be screaming as although she is crying and needs soothing, she probably just wants to sleep and the nappy change might be too stimulating and maybe the colder air etc.

We put our baby girl in a new nappy before bed and change her when she wakes up in the morning. This way we don’t disrupt her during her sleep, she also never does number 2 during the night. We started off on Aldi nappies then changed to pampers and now we’re using Sainsburys. The Sainsburys’ one has been the best for us so far, super absorbent with little to no leakages. The amount of Poonamis we’ve had with pampers is ridiculous considering what we were paying!!!

This was us until 6 weeks ago, I couldn’t bear it anymore so we just started doubling up nappies overnight and leaving her. Much less traumatic for everyone involved! We just make sure she is smothered in sudo overnight :)
