Night wakes

Has anyone made it through the other end of multiple night wakings without sleep training? My LO is 6.5 months and still waking lots in the night - has been this way since 4 month regression and I’m beginning to think he’ll never sleep through or even only wake once 😫 looking for reassurance that it does get better without needing to sleep train?! Otherwise I will look into sleep training again!

Going through the same! It’s rough and really hope it’s over for you soon! 🤞🏼

My baby is the same and we’re on the red part on the wonder weeks app, if she hasn’t snapped out if it when she’s finished the fussy stage then I want a refund 😂😴😩

Snap! We are on the last day of red! I’m packing her off to nanny’s if there is no change 😂 x

@Rhiannon let me know how it goes! 😂 great plan!

My LO also 6.5m went from waking only once to waking multiple times until around 2/3am but now has gone back to just one wake for the past couple of nights so I’m hoping we’ve come through it have you started weaning yet? HV advised that I give him weetabix for supper and I have found he does sleep better if he has had it for example last night he had warm weetabix at 8:30pm breastfeed from 9:40 to 10pm he then slept from 10pm until 1:15am had another breastfeed until 1:40am and then slept until 7am

@Krissy sounds exactly like my little girl! Ooo I will try that, we are weaning but I’m only giving one meal a day, in the morning!

We went through this from October till approx 3 weeks ago she was waking up minimum of 4 times a night sometimes up 8,9 times a night, with the very odd night she’d get up twice which was a rarity! Since we’ve started encouraging self settling and putting her in her cot awake and allowing her to fall asleep herself she’s been a completely different baby and she’s slept through or only got up once for a feed, if she has woke up she’s been able to self settle herself now and she’s a completely different baby now for getting some sleep ☺️ she now does daytime naps in her room too x

@Iona that’s interesting! How did you encourage her to self settle? If I leave my baby, she just screams 😖

Same ! Since 5.5 months and have been going on 2 months 😂 can't see light at the end of the tunnel x

@Laura same;!;

@Iona amazing!! I used to be able to put my baby down awake but can’t any more he just screams. How did you go about starting??

@Krissy interesting!! Just picked up some weetabix so praying it helps 🤣

We started by putting her down in her cot awake with her white noise on, and someone patting her back and we slowly reduced the time we was patting her back and now we just put her down awake, turn the white noise on and say goodnight and leave her room, if she’s unsettled we go back into her pat her and leave again don’t leave her to cry xx

See she screams when she is put down x

Did the weetabjx help?! Wondering if I should try tonight 🙈

@Lianne it didn’t at night for me but I gave before afternoon nap yesterday and he slept for 2 hours in cot when usually only does 30 mins!

Might try it tonight then! No harm in trying 🙈
