Baby is one month old so not stable enough yet to keep his neck up but I keep reading it’s helpful to keep baby upright after feeding to prevent reflux. I’m curious to know how you physically keep them upright especially if they are getting heavier?

Just carry them

Over the shoulder 😊 not upright as such but the dr told me it was the best position for a baby with reflux x

Hold baby upright against your chest so their head is resting on your shoulder. That’s what I always did when mine was that age 🤷🏻♀️

Head on my chest - we get some good burps out that way. He falls asleep there though so we change his diaper to wake him back up enough to eat more

oh ok! I thought the boppy pillows are only for feeding and unsafe otherwise?

They do help with feeding. While baby is sitting in the boppi just be sure it’s supervised as baby’s are still wobbly and learning to maneuver their heads and body.
