In 10 days time I have a 9 month old and she’s still not crawling. A lot of mums I speak to locally say their babies were crawling at 9 months so I feel worried.
On her tummy she just flaps her arms and kicks her legs around, I’ve tried everything I get her moving but she’s not getting it yet. I’m sure she will soon but just wondering.
Is everyone else’s baby crawling?

Nope, 8.5 months here and she'll rock back and forth on her hands and knees but then starfish

No my little boy isn’t crawling and isn’t particularly close to it either! My first little boy didn’t crawl until 13 months but he was fine! Try not to worry x

my little girl is the same and also same age xx

Crawling ‘on average’ happens between 7-12 months, that’s a huge age range and babies can do before and after those timescales too!
All you can do is offer plenty of floor time for baby to build muscle and don’t get too worried. Easier said than done when it comes to our babies, I know!

My daughter is 8.5 months and nowhere near crawling, she hates being on her tummy. Apparently I didn’t crawl or my brothers we just went straight to walking and missed that stage so I’m not worried at all x

My little girl is the same age and doing exactly the same thing. She prefers to stand (with me holding her) than ever being on her front - she rocks like a boat if we do tummy time and then screams! Don’t worry it will happen enjoy being able to plonk them somewhere without them crawling off - that’s what I’ve been advised 😅 xx
