Since giving birth to my little girl I have not felt myself! I have tried going back to the gym but having free time to do this where I’m not totally exhausted seems impossible. I’m back at work now so even less free time! I’m getting married in November and though I know I’m not going to be the same as pre pregnancy! I want to do something to help me feel more comfortable in my own skin! I figured I’d start light and starter working on strengthening my body slowly with yoga and Pilates! I do this through videos online and can do it while she naps…anyone else feeling just not themselves and what have you don’t to accept the new normal?

the exhaustion is the killer cause the second I get a free minute I just want to chill out and not do anything! But I want to make the conscious effort to try and do something for my mental health! X

Yea definitely! I find it so hard I always think I’ll do this and that then when I get free time I’m just wanting to rest and do absolutely nothing. I hate the thought of just constantly being go go go and not have any time other than sleeping to just rest. I find myself staying up later now just to have that time to myself at night as my husband works 12 hour shifts he is never present so it’s me from wake up to bed time with the kids x I’m looking at getting a walk pad because mentally in my head I’ll still be having me time at home comfy watching tv whilst also being more active lol xx

it’s so hard isn’t it like I feel like I’m having to choose between down time to rest and working on my physical health x

it’s something that is hard to balance. Sometimes it is such an effort to bring yourself to get ready and prepared to go out when you can stay at home and chill whilst the little one is xx

honestly! It’s hard as well because as much as I love my other half he always seems to have the time to do everything and I’m like where do you get the energy can I borrow some because some days when I’m off work and my little one is day care(which doesn’t happen often) all I want to do is sleep and recover from the last few weeks or I need to catch up on housework and time for me seems to always take a back seat

woman definitely take the hit. It can be so frustrating because they think well they are out working so they deserve the resting time not realising we never get downtime because if it’s not being a 24 7 parent it’s doing the house or sorting dinners. It’s never ending! Xx
