Twice I’ve managed to settle him back to sleep without nursing and the rest of the time he’s not gone back down without nursing. He has a cold so I’m assuming this is why he’s been up more, but we got into a reverse cycling issue previously and I’m worried we’ll get back into that again 😩(for those who don’t know it’s where baby feeds more at night than in day). He fed completely fine yesterday though, normal amount of feeds, but I’m wondering if his cold stopped him from feeding efficiently

It's probably the cold. I am sure he will go back to normal after. Mine had flu after Christmas and she was feeding every hour, she was 3 months at the time.
How did you resolve the reverse cycle? I have that issue now... 😕
ah I hope so! It’s killing me off! I just had a few days at home where I was feeding him as much as possible (at least every 2 hours), occasionally he would pop off distracted but I just kept putting him back on until I felt he had a good feed in him, it took a couple of days but then he just started only waking at 4:30 for a feed then back off until 6:30/7ish

My LO has a cold atm and he was up every 1hr - 1.5hrs last night and needing a feed to go back to sleep 💀 I read online to push back the first feed of the night by an hour then keep increasing each night so they have a chance to increase daytime calories, this seemed to work for me last time. But his cold does seem to be affecting his feeding 😔
thank you! Nice to know I’m not alone 😆 he did manage to settle back down without a feed the first time he woke, I tend to give in easily at night as I worry about my little girls sleep too!
