Best wearable Breast Pump?

Can I have some recommendations for wearable breast pumps?
I’m 3 days PP and wasn’t going to breastfeed but I’ve been really enjoying it so need to invest in a pump!

You don’t need to worry about pumping for the first 6 weeks or so until supply is established x

I’m just preparing for the future, would like to get some recommendations so I can do some research into them 🥰 x

I’ve been recommended MomCozy and Spectra brands 🍼

I’ve been recommended the Medela wearable as the best on the market, but haven’t tried one myself!

I have Medela, a lot of people I know love Momcosy.

You might also want to invest in milk collection shells? They go over your breast while your baby feeds on the other to collect passive let down. There are also silicone pumps like the haakaa that collect let down through light suction but some women say it can cause an over supply (unlike shells, which literally just sit there).

I actually have a Hakka and shell which I’m currently using! I think I might just keep using those for now then if I struggle then can look into a breast pump
Thanks everyone!

Just beware the wearables don’t empty you as well as a stronger wired pump and nothing empties you as well as your baby. Lots of people pump and think they’re not making enough but not everyone is able to pump lots of milk - it doesn’t mean you don’t have the milk to feed baby.

4 months in EBF and honestly pumping is more hassle than it’s worth as if someone gives baby a bottle say during the night you’ll need to pump at that time anyway to maintain your supply especially in the early days. You’ve then got tones of washing/ serialising to do too. Much quicker to just latch baby imo.

If pumping is something you’re really keen to do though my best bit of advice is ensure the flange size is correct for you to maximise output. Most pumps come with generic flanges which are unlikely to be the correct fit for you so you’ll need to measure yourself and order the correct size separately. Best of luck! x

I’ve got the medela freestyle and love it! Had a mam one before which was handy as it went straight into a bottle but was bulky compared to the medela one!

I have the one from the PaNt store on amazon, only £20-25. Its large and not so wearable, but that's actually a good thing. It's not comfortable to do much while pumping (with a smaller one I was cooking etc...) a larger one you have to hold means that you have to sit down and drink water. Pumping is not to be multi tasked with anything but tv/entertainment.

At this stage I used a Hakka and put it on the boob I wasn’t feeding on and managed to get a really good supply of milk this way

I’ve been using the momcozy wearable pump for about 3 months now and I like it :)

hi. I’ve bought one of these.
Once it’s suctioned on does it “free flow” out or do you need to squeeze / pump? Thank you

sorry I meant !!

For a wearable pump I use the Pipetta, it’s reasonably priced and does the job. It comes with different size flanges too; like others have said though I’ve found wearable pumps don’t measure up to plug in ones however they definitely have a place for convenience of being hands free and mobile

Elvie on the higher end but I’ve also heard great things about momcozy and it’s more affordable!

I got mine from Amazon and it’s so good. Wearable Breast Pump with 12 Pcs Breastmilk Storage Bags, Hands-Free Breast Pump 2 Modes 9 Level Electric Express Pump Silicone Breast Pump Wireless Milk Breast Pump Double Breast Pumps 24mm Flange

I use the momcozy s9 pro and it’s been absolutely brilliant!!

I love my spectra pumps. I have both the S1 and wearable pump

I don't like the wearable pumps as much. They are a pain to keep charged and assemble. They don't seem to give me as much milk. For a pump I love the Motif Luna. I can get a good amount of milk in just 8 minutes and more in 15-20. It's more time effective in my opinion. I used the Willow Go for a wearable.

I like my momcozy

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
