Is this sleep regression?

My baby used to sleep very well and has done since she was born - sleeping through or waking up maximum once. She's EBF, so I know I'm very lucky with this.

The last couple of weeks she has been waking up once at 4am for a feed but fussing every half hour/hour until we wake up at 7:30 for the majority of the time. But the last two nights she's woken up at 3am and 5am for a feed and again fussed every half hour/hour until we get up at 7:30.

I know this is quite normal for some babies but not for us 😴😴. Could this be sleep regression or is this just her new normal?!?!?!

It very well could be. My baby used to wake up once throughout the night, then she started sleeping thru the whole way. Now she’s not sleeping great, but I think mines a mix between teething and sleep regression. X

I could have written this. I think it is a regression. We are just riding it through, I'm sure it'll change again soon 🤣

Definitely think it's a regression, I've just come out the otherside of similar with my 18 week old. However, his sleep has not gone back to how it was before, it seems to be a 'new normal' for us

My little one is 4 months today and we’ve been going through the exact same for the past 2-3 weeks. She used to sleep through the night but now she’s waking up at 4am for a feed and fussing in between almost every hour! EBF too. This is definitely not our normal so hopefully she’ll go back to sleeping through the night soon ☺️ xx

My baby has slept through since 6 weeks and now needs feeding at 11pm and 4am. Must he sleep regression as before he would go to bed and not wake until 8/9am

I’m exactly the same! My baby is 17 weeks. I’m super lucky that she had been sleeping through or waking once for the last few months.

As of last week, she goes to bed at 8pm and wakes at 11pm-12am (a few times earlier!) and then is awake every two hours and won’t go back down in her cot.

Exhausted and every night hoping it’s the last of the regression! But you’re not alone, it’s so rough being so sleep deprived again 🥴

Exactly the same story as me! I had weeks of sleeping through and now I see him again at 3am and 6am for a feed 😴😴 last night he was up every hour I am exhausted 🤣

It's good to know we're not the only ones then and hopefully it only lasts a couple more weeks 😬😬

he’s been going since around 20th January 😴 so about a month of this I’ve had. He’s 19 weeks tomorrow x

Yep in the exact samr position here. She used to sleep through the night and now is waking up crying or fussing 1-3 times a night 😫😫😫

Okay last night was worse. 1.30, 3:30 and 5:30 feed and fussing every hour inbetween 😴😴😴 I'm like a zombie

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Baby with chronic congestion

Hi everyone! My 1 year has been a congested baby since birth almost. She breathes through her mouth so often that it wakes her up multiple times at night and she cries and screams and then struggles to go back to sleep. She wakes up every 1-3 hours and sometimes can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours!!! Piriton is the only thing that seems to help her sleep mostly through the night but I can’t keep giving her that!!
Does anyone have tips as to have I can do or give her? Has anyone experienced? I have no idea when I’ll get an ENT appointment and I have no idea what he can give a 13 mo :( we are desperate for sleep so any tips are welcome!! We have tried steam inhalation, saline drops, vapour rubs and everything off the counter basically!

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
