A friend of mine is having trouble with her daughter taking a bottle. She refuses to take any bottle or binki. Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? Her daughter is 9 weeks now.
She went out for a bit this past weekend and her husband tried to feed the baby with a syringe and it didn't work.

May have to try different bottles and different nipple shapes /flows. It can take a few trys too.

It is really a trial and error process. We dealt with bottle refusal when my guy was ~3months. We first gave him the bottle nipple to play with so he had a positive association with it. Tried so many different bottles, milk temps, feeding positions, etc etc. we still struggle sometimes.. I get messages from daycare fairly often that he won’t eat 😟 but dude is 5.5 months and 19lbs so he’s doing fine lol. Just have to keep practicing with the bottle!!

Maybe go down in nipple size if the bottles have that system. My baby had to use premie nipples for the first 3ish months bc the size one was too fast for him and he wouldn’t take it

My son was like this. I breastfed him exclusively and when my supply went down I had no choice but to give him a bottle. The only one that worked into helping him transition from nipple to bottle were the comotomo bottles. Otherwise it was a no no. And he also likes MAM bottles now too
