Those with a retroverted uterus, did you have any issues with seeing anything in your scan? I’m going to a private one and I’m happy to pay it to see if I can see anything (aware that I may need to pay again in a few weeks when things are more visible).
Also I am so bloated and look about 12 weeks pregnant when I’m only 6 weeks

Hi, I have a retroverted uterus and have had a couple of scans already for medical reasons and they have not had an issue seeing anything. Mine were all internal scans.

I have one too and experienced no issues with scans.
Only issue I’ve ever had is examinations and doctors not being able to easily find my cervix as it’s short and far back due to my retroverted uterus.

I have one too and saw my baby at 7 weeks +4 abdominally quite clearly.

my first smear test had me crying cos she was trying her best to find my cervix. Now I know I have a tilted uterus I can say for any future exams

it’s awful!
Had the worst experience a few years back when getting a coil fitted!
The nurses get so flustered too which makes it 10x worse

I did my duty and only told my friends about my experience after they had experienced theirs. I never want to scare people and it’s so important people go. Because of who I am as a person, I was trying not to cry during the exam cos I didn’t want to make the nurse feel bad 😂
