Fortified cereal

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good vegan cereal for a 6 month old? Fortified with iron; calcium etc?

Weetabix is one of the lower sugar ones with added vitamins. No calcium in unfortunately.. but if you use oat milk that'll have calcium (check the carton)

Also good old oats have lots of protein and iron in. Again use oat milk fortified with vitamins too. And we always add milled nuts and seeds to cereals

Oh brilliant thanks! We use plenish milk but not fortified so no good really for Faye. We are planning on giving veg 1 supplement so maybe will be ok anyway 🙌🏻

Dusty has weetabix with oat milk, oats with alpro yoghurt (and fruit), sainsburys own wheat puffs & bran flakes (he just has a handful of these dry, to keep him occupied!). And he has veg 1 most days..

@Catherine could also do the Weetabix and oats with some alpro no sugar yoghurt on top as that has calcium in too 🤗

Also we use the Avacare multivitamin for kids (but think it's 1 year plus)as it's like the only one with veggie omega 3 and iodine in!!!
