Returning Diapers to Walmart

You need to have receipt to return at Walmart. You can try it… it depends on the supervisor and perhaps the location.

I have returned them without a receipt. You get a gift card.

They allow exchanges for a different box, I’ve exchanged diapers without a receipt and as long as they are unopened and previously bought from Walmart it’s usually fine, all depends on the Walmart I guess! Doesn’t hurt to try!

We’ve returned lots without a receipt but only for straight exchange of another size, equal value

They will give you a gift card since you don’t have receipt. I sometimes don’t have my physical card during returns and they give me a gift card for that too. As long as the item is unused and with tag they will take it.

They allow me a straight exchange, as long as they carry the the brand and size I'm returning. For diapers, I've never heard of them giving a gift card

You can return them. They'll let you exchange them, but if they don't have the one you need in stock, they'll give you a gift card so you can get them at a different Walmart

Yes they take it, they’ll just give you a Walmart gift card

I highly doubt it. These days you can just walk in steal a box diapers then come back and say I'd like to return these please
