I’m 19weeks pregnant and just wondering if it’s normal to of not felt any movements or fluttering yet? It’s my first pregnancy so just a little concerned. I have read that you should feel movements between 16-24weeks just a bit concerned that I’m 19weeks and not felt anything yet 💙

you could have an anterior placenta! I know i do and im 19 weeks also and havnt felt anything yet. I was told with an anterior placenta you start to feel things closer to 24 weeks x

what’s that? Never heard of it x can it harm the baby or does it just make movements come later on during pregnancy x

it's just where your placenta is sat, it won't harm the baby at all. It just means your placenta is position to the front of your uterus, there's loads of different places a placenta will position itself just anterior means you will feel movements later xx

thank you for explaining x I’m new to all this aha x got my 20week scan on 12th march hopefully things are all well x every other ultrasound has been perfect x can’t wait to find out the gender 💙❤️x

fingers crossed for you keep me updated about how yours goes x mines on 12th of march x

I have an anterior placenta, 21 weeks & only have very slight flutters the past week :) but nothing like other people describe! Try not to panic, all different aren’t we 🤗 x

I have an anterior placenta too although every scan has been perfectly fine. I've just turned 20 weeks and finally starting to feel flutters. Not quite kicks as yet though but told its completely normal as the placenta is essentially dulling the baby movements across my belly and advised I should feel kicks by 24 weeks. Hope this helps as I was worrying a few weeks ago about this too x

I’m 19 weeks with my second baby, only in the last 48 hours have I started to feel flutters! With my 1st baby I don’t feel her until 24 weeks! Try not to panic, a lot of what people feel early on is actually just wind, baby is still very small and every body is different! Try not to worry too much, you’re have your 20 week scan soon which will put your mind at rest :) xx

I never really felt flutters in all my 3 pregnancies.. until it got more into movements. Remember it is your first so can take a bit longer than others x

I started feeling slight flutters at 10-11 weeks however it all depends on the individual pregnancy and what position your placenta is, my is posterior so I feel everything lol😮💨🥲

fingers crossed for us both xx keep me posted how your app goes xx n I’ll do same x

I’ll try my best not to xx I’ve got 20week scan on 12th of march hopefully they’ll be able to explain why then xx as all my ultrasounds have been fine xx

yh it’s helped thank you xx it’s good to know I’m not the only one who hasn’t felt anything yet xx just got worried but I’ve also been told the only time to really worry about it is when your 24weeks as by then you should of felt movements xx

I’ll try my best not to worry and thank you xx just didn’t know if it was normal or not as it’s my first pregnancy xx

that’s true n thank you xx

bless you xx imma try not to worry to much as I’m only 19weeks n got 20week scan soon fingers crossed everything will be ok xx

I was the same! I hadn’t felt anything and mentioned it at my 20 week scan (3 days ago!) and was told I have a high anterior placenta. They weren’t worried in the slightest and said I should start to feel some movements within the next 4 weeks. My little boy is thriving 🩵💙🩵

I’ve got mine 12th march hopefully they’ll be able to tell me why I’ve not felt anything yet x

Iv been feeling odd kicks here and there for couple of weeks but only these last few days since turning 19 weeks have they been stronger and more frequent. This is also my 3rd pregnancy. I wouldn’t worry untill u get to 23-24 weeks but you’ll of had ur scan by then to reassure you x

I am 18 weeks+4 haven’t felt anything either! Hopefully it’s normal x

fingers crossed x

fingers crossed it is xx apparently if you get to 24weeks and haven’t felt anything that’s when u need to inform midwife and get check up xx

I’m 22 weeks and have only felt distinctive kicks /flutters in the past week with my first baby. There’s so much pressure to feel kicks but for a while you probably won’t even notice they are there! X

I feel better now a lot of people have said simular to you x I was getting so worried x

I was like that even in my 20th week I was convinced I hadn’t felt him but I think I had and thought it was just wind 😂 with our first it’s definitely a lot harder because we don’t know what we are feeling for but once you know you will notice it more because it starts to feel more natural to you x
