Constipation

It’s totally normal. It will get better. Do you offer your LO some water with their solids? My LB has a tum tum cup. Great to get him used to using a cup and also helps the poop 😊

Yup my LO can do 2-3 days without pooping and I know she's struggling as trying to push. Currently on day 2

how long did you find it took to get better?

Yep! He's going 3 days at the moment without pooping and getting so uncomfortable and upset with it.

after a couple weeks. Have you tried water?

oh we're 4 weeks into weaning and it's worse than ever 😢 he has a few things going on so don't know if it's all affecting him. Yeah he is having plenty of sips with his meals and even sips throughout the day but it's doing nothing.

oh no! 😟. Have you tried the allergens? I’ve heard dairy can cause constipation? Xx

yeah he had a severe reaction to cow's milk so could just be part of that still! I know the symptoms can take weeks to subside xx

ah potentially! I guess try bicycle legs, warm baths etc to help things move. Or maybe speak to your GP. I hope your LO feels better soon. It’s so tough especially when you can’t explain to them what’s happening xx

doing it all and nothing is working. He's already on Lactulose. I think we just have to ride it out but it's so hard seeing him so distressed 😢 xx

hehe I know right! 😂 my LG will do it in the night and my god, it’s so loud! 🤣
Genuinely don’t know if it’s her or the partner half the time!

We're in the same boat but I heard laughter and also a warm bath helps to relax the tummy muscles. I waited until day 3 when my LG definitely needed to go and we did lots of silly play until she was in hysterics, I then put her in a really warm bath (this was mid afternoon) and voila, pooped in the bath after about ten mins. Worth a try!! X

My boy is dairy intolerant has silent reflux and has Gaviscon.
I find giving him a pear with breakfast helps him.
