What to expect my first OB/GYN appointment??

I’m thinking I’m around eight weeks. I just don’t know what to expect. Am I gonna get an ultrasound? And what else???

I have already had my pregnancy confirmed at a different OB/GYN…

At my first one they confirmed via urine, did a vaginal exam and Pap smear, and gave me information. I did an ultrasound a few weeks later. Congratulations!

yes I am starting at a new office but I already gave the new office the paperwork confirming my pregnancy. I was really hoping to get an ultrasound.

At my first appointment they checked the heartbeat, went over family history/possible risks, past pregnancy history, a vaginal exam, and gave me packets for birthing info and breastfeeding info

So I didn’t know I could call and ask what was gonna happen it is confirmed I’m gonna get an ultrasound and I’m so excited

Mine was a vaginal inspection and breast

most of the time for ultrasounds they have to set a date for it and they tell you to go there and then you go to your appointment afterwards.

for my first appointments they confirmed pregnancy, did test for any STDs, asked about my background (like previous pregnancy and stuff like that), and drew blood for test. We then talked about scheduling an ultrasound

Yea agreed with above comments, that early in pregnancy with your first ob/gyn appt it’s typically a transvaginal US along with urine tests etc

Probably just an ultrasound, take your vitals , check weight urine sample and blood

Just had my first appointment today! I am 8 weeks and 2 days. They did an abdominal ultrasound. Then doctor just asked me about any questions I had. Then sent me for blood work. Took about an hour and a half but was super easy!

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

Is this normal??

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and having really aching legs and they’re all lumpy and swollen. Above the knee and behind the knee . Should I be worried ? My legs have never looked like this up until a few days ago. ??
