Tall baby

Anyone else have a really tall baby? 🤣 my 5 month old is 72cm height in age 3-6 months clothing.
For reference I’m 5’4 but his dads 6’1

I knew he’d be taller but looking at the average height charts online I can’t believe he’s this big already haha

Yeah mines a little older but has always been 97th to 99th centile for length. They grow fast! If they're long then chances are they'll stay that way!

Mines 72cm as well but we’re 5ft2 and 5ft10 so no idea why he’s so long

Yeah- my lg is 68cm at 4.5 months. 99th centile i believe it was 😶. Her dad is 6”4 though, and her grandad is 6”6 so no massive surprises that she is pretty long.

Yes mine was 73cm at 4 months. I feel robbed of a newborn stage I'm only 5'3 so only really have photos of me with this massive baby
If I have another I defo have to get more pics in the first 6 weeks! He was born 50cm 🙈.
Still looks a tiny baby when his das holds him though so I guess he will be tall like dad

My 5 month old is 78cm 😂 she weighs 19.5lbs now. but she was measured 68cm at birth - think this was a little inaccurate, but not hugely off.

I’m 5’11 and her dad is 6’2. But I’m short on my dads of the family - all the guys are 6’5-6’8

Our baby boy is 67cm... I am 5'2 and my partner is 6'8 so... Hopefully he will be tall!

woah! She really is a big girl! People keep commenting on how long my girl is, but this is 10 whole cm longer! What size clothes is she in?

Avatar

I feel the same way- obviously I know it doesnt matter at all, but I do also feel a bit sad that I didn’t get a tiny baby for longer!

Avatar

it’s a family trait I think 😅 I was born 70cm long, my mum always says the midwives said I was the longest baby they’d ever seen 😂

I’m squeezing her into 6-9 as the arms are often still a bit long for her, but she should probably be in 9-12

My big issue is the nappies, we’re on size 5 already 🤦🏻‍♀️

🙃 you must of of been very well folded up in there! That’s well off the charts for a 5 month old- amazing!

My 4 month old was 74cm and grew 14cm in 4 weeks 😄 think he may be a tall boy!

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet driving them mad?? It goes off 5/6 times night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off! Anyone had similar issues?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.
