🌟Schedule and To-Do List Tips🌟

I consider myself a routine queen. My Days are pretty mapped out, the weekends are a structured free for all! Here are some of the things I do to help keep my two toddler boys on track ⬇️⬇️ -Google Sheets help me keep up with appointments throughout the entire month. I have a total of six columns; Day of the week, Date including the month, Time, Place, Reason, & phone number just in case I need help. As a neighborhood newbie the place column helps me navigate to appointments or events. -Hygiene Routines for my 3 & 5 year old boys🫧. As my 3 year old has had difficulty getting to bed and also sleeping on his own I found a way to prepare him to go to sleep. I created a hygiene basket that I filled with stuff that they can manage independently and after all the steps are done they know it’s now time for bed. Also, this has taught them not to stink! As a boy mom I aim to make sure my boys take their hygiene seriously as well as their appearance. -Last but not least, everyone needs a break‼️Attending a job for 8+ hours you as an adult need time to unwind. When my children get home from school they basically get to choose what they want to do AFTER we take time to wind down. During this time I’m able to make dinner and by 7pm it’s time for bed. For an extremely long time I had trouble regulating their sleep and making sure they are on schedule for school and stuff. Going from being a SAHM and having kids with me 24/7, I had a hard time transitioning to a routine when they started school. I hope this helps someone 🫶🏼🩷

That is so awesome I need to do something like thatđź’Żđź’Żđź’Ż

I need to try doing something like this. My girls and I are normally rushing to get school things done. But I think we could all benefit from taking time to just relax before jumping into everything after school and work.

@Dee It’s definitely not easy. Our kids are little adults, I do my best to give them responsibility and having them ready for the next task also holds me accountable as well.

Yes. I have a 9 year old who is going on 30. She pays close attention to how I handle situations. With me working and going to school, I'm always in a rush, and I feel like I'm always falling behind.

@Dee hopefully, her observing that will build a want to be punctual. Kids don’t always pick up the negative. They’re little adults and they have perspective. 🩷 I guarantee things WILL get better. If you feeling like she’s seeing you falling behind, also show her that you have good qualities too! Show her how hard you work, build her work ethic! Show her how bad you want to succeed, build her ambition and desire to be great! 🩷🩷
