Yeah just apply on the council website. At the moment there aren’t separate collection dates for the nappies though while the strike is ongoing. It’s supposed to alternate weeks but they just collect at the same time as black bins atm. My girl is 14 weeks now and there’s never been a normal hygiene collection during her whole life!
I pick up purple bags from the library or community centre (same way you get food bags etc) but you can register for a yellow caddy to story hygiene waste and the hygiene collection itself on the website https://www.cardiffcouncilforms.co.uk/article/1029 They used to come to us about 6.30/7am on the Friday there wasn’t a black bin collection, but as other have said they’re not doing it at the moment so my purple bags go out with the black bin and they just take them at the same time they’ve been told to because of strikes etc x

You can apply for them on the cardiff council website, it's mainly to register your address for the bin collection, they send you the first lots of bags and a yellow bin. Then the hubs have extra rolls of bags if you run out x
