Peri bottle

Both, at first you'll want to use it while peeing because it makes the concentration of your urine weaker and it should sting less down there, but it can also be used to clean after, and you'll probably wanna do that a while. A lot of people like to pat dry with toilet paper after but don't rub if that's what you want to do. I personally would try not to at first, the maternity pad will absorb what little water is left.

Both. I have 2 peri bottles so I have plenty to use during that time. To dilute the pee to avoid stinging during peeing or ease it some at least. And then after to clean yourself as you want to avoid wiping (pat only if you need to) and try to use bottle at first instead

Personally I would do both depending on how sore you are. X
