Birth

I only gave birth last May to my little girl and I’m due to give birth again this May🤣 I’m pretty traumatised by the birth of my daughter and dreading going through it again whilst it’s all so fresh in my mind. (I wasn’t monitored properly, I was giving drugs that I said I didn’t want on multiple occasions & there was no medical reason for me to have them anyway. I was told I was 2cm when she was literally coming out and she was also resuscitated for 10 minutes.)

Does anyone have any advice or tips to get through it?
I’m planning on only using gas & air again as I’m a massive needle phobic.
Has anyone used anything like a birthing comb and found it beneficial?
What about hypnobirthing?

I was also induced first time around and will be getting induced again this time too.

I was traumatised by the birth certificate f my son so this time I’m doing an elective c section

I found my first birth traumatic due to a long labour, epidural, episiotomy, failed forceps then ventouse delivery, so I was really scared about giving birth again. This time my labour was much quicker and by the time I got to the birth centre I asked for an epidural but it was too late, baby was born in the pool soon after. I used a comb which did help distract me during contractions and also hypnobirthing breathing techniques

hi I have a question please
I’m hoping for a birth like your second time
Just being relaxed in a tub and distracted by somethings
Do I need to take classes to learn the hypnobirthinh techniques? I’m 37 weeks and not sure if I can go somewhere to get any classes ! Was there anything online that helped you ?

I did a course with the Positive Birth Company however if you look on YouTube there are lots of videos on there with the techniques.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
