Can anyone help me with some tips & tricks to deal with Menstrual Cramps? My time of the month has always been really really painful. Recently, it feels like it’s even worse. Every time I see a doctor they tell me it’s normal & to take Tylenol or pamprin. I can’t use tampons because they cause me more pain. Pads (even the overnight ones) aren’t absorbant enough and I go through about 6-8 a day if not more. My last doctor recommended Depends to wear so I can free flow. It’s helped some but the pain seems worse recently.
Are their any drinks/foods & exercises that may help? I don’t want to keep taking Tylenol or pamprin. Mine lasts 7-8 days with heavy flow the whole time.
I just need some ideas please!

I really enjoy the depends on my time of the month I was doing it before I get pregnant, I had my period then got pregnant the day it finished so I still have some left and used them postpartum also but have you tried midol? Or a hot bath or heating pad where the cramps are? That could maybe help.
You could also try laying on a flat surface(ex. Ground, mat) and put your arms up above your head and stretch your legs out. Or within a straddle so butt on ground legs out on each side opened as much as you can and lean/ stretch to each side, so left arm up and over head to stretch to right side and opposite for the left side.
yup. They said I apparently don’t meet the marks for it as my period is regular and the normal is irregular periods.
I’ve done midol, pamprin, Tylenol, Advil, and others. They help some but it only dulls the pain enough to do the basic functions like eat & make it down the stairs. I have a 4 yo and I want to be able to still go have fun time with her without the crippling pain. The pain medication only last about 1/2 the time it says. I have the 8 hr Tylenol rn and it barely lasts 4 hours with dull pain.
I had a heating pad and a cold soft ice pack but it didn’t help at all. I’ve done the lay down on the bed, butt against the wall with my legs up, moving my legs open & closed which was a doctor suggestion but that hurt a bunch more.

I would see different doctors, this isn’t normal.
