When can I take my 1 month old outside?

The day after we came back from the hospital!

You can take her out right now just don’t have her out for long

As long as it’s warm enough or you have her in the proper clothes she can enjoy the weather whenever!

And plus her body temp is the same as ours

Fresh air is great for them! You can take her outside anytime you want. Just don't forget sunscreen and a sun hat. They can get a sunburn fast at this age.

Same, I’d avoid sunscreen and just make sure she doesn’t get direct sun if it’s hot. A long sleeve or sunshade should be enough

If you can't avoid direct sunlight then a little bit of Mineral- sunscreen is okay to put on exposed areas according to The American Academy of Pediatrics. It must be baby safe 30-50 spf and mineral based. Avoid anything with oxybenzone in the ingredients. Also try to keep them out of the sun between 10am and 2pm when the UV rays are the strongest. I used an Infant sun hat that also coverd the neck and an umbrella as we don't have many trees or shade in our neighborhood.

I take my baby outside all the time. Today we went to a farmers market and I wore him in a wrap carrier.

There are uv play tents you can place baby inside to play, if you want to hang out at a park or garden.

Whenever. I took my son to the store the day he left the nicu and my daughter the day after we left after my C-section.
