My first was an emergency csection at 34 weeks. Tell her pregnancy is better than the NICU

41 weeks. That's weird to want her baby at 36 weeks. Her baby could not be ready at all and needed extra care. I mean 3rd trimester is hard but we have to manage for the best health of our baby (unless mom has specific risks at going on with the pregnancy of course)

I had an elective induction at 39+5 because I was tired of being pregnant and it ended in 32 hours of labor and an extremely traumatic emergency c-section. If I could go back and tell myself not to rush things I would. The relief of not being pregnant anymore is not worth the risks that come with a baby being born before they are ready.

My first was 40+4
My second was 37+3

Everyone said mine will come late as it’s my first and she came on time . Earlier than some expected

Induced at 36+1 due to pre eclampsia he was small and required nicu time my 2nd came naturally at 37+3 she was small but didnt require nicu time tbh id much rather a baby over 37 week then before

If it's just talk, I say let her. I remember not wanting to be pregnant. I don't think any doctor would induce her that early without a valid medical reason


I was 39 and few days both times, day after a membrane sweep

I was told at 37 weeks baby was low and could come any day and worried a lot about her lung development this next 2 weeks

Induced at 39 weeks but never ever again! Worst experience of my life x

Was induced at nearly 38 weeks because of pre eclampsia but I had an induction booked for 38 weeks anyway for other reasons. When the doctor discussed the booked induction with me they said (unless necessary) they wouldn't book before 37 weeks because 37 weeks is considered full term. I had family pushing me to go for 37 weeks because of my health but baby was fine and less risk of respiratory problems like asthma after 38 weeks so I was planning to wait till then

Bless her. I would recommend she looks into induction and weigh up whether It’s worth it for her. It often causes longer and more intense labours and there’s an increased chance of it ending in a c section. I know a lot of people go into induction not understanding this and then regret it. She may still choose to do it though if she’s this fed up at 32 weeks but it’s worth knowing!

Seeing all the 41 + 5 mums here makes me feel so happy! I honestly felt like I was the most pregnant person in the entire world the day I gave birth so it’s so lovely to know empirically that it wasn’t just me (I mean, I knew this objectively at the time, but it was very difficult to be rational at that stage, I just wanted him OUT)

Mine came at 42 + 1 ☺️

Exactly at 40 weeks, waters broke naturally but ended up being induced as contractions didn't start and baby's movements changed

First baby 39+0, second baby 39+6 both boys x

40w on the dot for the first baby 😊

38+6. Was very surprised as it was first baby. My husband was always sure she would come early though.

First baby was 37+3 and second baby 39+6

39+3 then 39+1

All the people I know had their babies between 39-42 weeks. I was very surprised my baby was born naturally at 37+4

Mine was a due date baby. He wanted his dad to have the best reason not to go to his sisters wedding 😅😂
