You could provide yourself with false reassurance and/or worry yourself unnecessarily unless you're a trained professional and know what you're doing, what you're listening for etc.
I'd personally return it.

I got warned if I do get one I may hear my heart beat instead of the babies but if you know where you baby is and you know what to listen for go for it xx

You’re unlikely to catch the baby’s heartbeat at 8 weeks with an at home doppler like this one. I also have one and will try it closer to 12-13 weeks. I think I was around 13 weeks when I first heard the heartbeat when I was pregnant with my son. Make sure you get some gel if you don’t have some already
Was told I have a low lying placenta at my 20w scan(5mm from cervix) and when I asked them if it was ok to fly the next week (3h flight) they were a bit vague so now I am confused. Has anyone been flying with a very low lying placenta?

Good morning all,
I am 41 weeks pregnant and still waiting, I had a little mild pain since week 38 , but still no sign of the delivery, my feet started to swallow specially the right one. Is this normal?
Anyone had similar situation? I am expecting a baby boy. The due date was the 1st of October but I'm still waiting!!

Hi all,
Little ones cord fell off last night, today it looks like she has a little stump. Does anyone know what this could be?
Midwife is due to come out tomorrow so will ask her but intrigued in the meantime to see what you all think

Is anyone else in a similar situation and just absolutely winging it at this point? 😭😂
I have an 8½ month old who has decided that sleep is completely optional. She barely naps during the day and is waking constantly through the night, sometimes staying awake for hours. She’s absolutely exhausted but will fight sleep with everything in her tiny body 😭 I’m trying everything and honestly I’m at the point where I don’t even know what to do anymore.
On top of that, I’ve got quite a few health issues that have been really kicking my arse lately and making it difficult to function normally. And now I’m pregnant again on top of all of it 🥲 I’m exhausted, constantly struggling to keep up with everything, and some days I genuinely feel like I’m barely keeping my head above water.
I love my wee girl more than anything and I know this is just a season, but I’m so physically and mentally drained. I feel like I’m constantly trying to look after everyone while having absolutely nothing left in the tank myself.
I know there probably isn’t a magic answer or much advice anyone can give, but I think I’d feel so much better just knowing I’m not the only one in this boat. ❤️
Are there any other mums who are dealing with awful sleep, pregnancy, health problems, or just generally feeling like they’re struggling to function? How are you coping? 😭

I had a c section 6 weeks ago Monday and am bottle feeding. All bleeding had stopped, just had pads for some small mucus discharge.
I got my period back at 5 weeks and 6 days.
Now I’m debating if it is a period. I’m 5 days in and it is shocking - it’s so heavy I’m wearing night pads in the day and postpartum pants overnight. Doesn’t appear to be letting up.
Has anyone else had this?
I was silly and googled, half responses are that it’s normal to have a heavy period and other half mentions postpartum haemorrhage 😭
I don’t want to go the the Gp as they’ll ask me to go to the hospital which is an hour away and I have no support for my 3 year old and 6 week old
