I had to go to the hospital on Tuesday as I was having pains.
They did a test and said it came back positive showing I was possibly going to labour soon.
They said I’d also had a small membrane rupture.
They sent me home Friday afternoon as my cervix was closed, second test turned negative but pains continued. (Given painkillers)
Now (Sunday) here are the symptoms… What do you think?
Feeling generally run down.
Heavy head.
Headache.
Exhausted but full of energy.
Nasal congestion.
A lot of low down pressure vaginally and in my bottom.
Legs ache/hurt.
Back hurts when I stand up/walk.
Baby is moving like crazy.
Struggling to breathe properly.
Struggling to climb stairs.
Feet constantly ache even when stood for just 5 mins.
Also think last night I lost a little more waters.
And I think I’m losing bits of my plug too.
What do you think? 🤷♀️

If your water is broken you should be at the hospital. Your baby needs amniotic fluid. I'd go back if I were you.
I felt my baby moving a ton a few days before my induction (I waited until 41w for an induction) and it was because my amniotic fluid was so low.

I’m unsure if you meant your water broke? If so, go to the hospital. Otherwise, this just sounds like the unfortunate symptoms of nearing labor, you’re close though!! I waited until my contractions were coming in a pretty consistent pattern and getting closer together but everyone is different!

My waters haven’t completely gone. When I was admitted on Tuesday they said I had a slight rupture of the membrane. Since I’ve been home (Friday afternoon) I’ve been feeling wet on/off randomly.
Tonight before I got up to go to bed my back started hurting like a period pain. Just in my back though! I’ve packed a bag just in case but I really don’t know. I’m now lay in bed and my back is still aching like I’m on my period. Also, when baby moves it causes an aching pain in my stomach?!
He was breech at my last scan (6th March) and on the 12th March they scans me again, he was head down!
I can feel his head myself and it feels to be right in my pelvis!
I don’t know what to do, my son is asleep in bed so I’d rather avoid having to wake him and take him to the hospital with me.
I’d have to call my dad who will then instruct my mum to come over (she’s my birth partner) and then my dad would have to take my son to his dads house as my dad has to work tomorrow.

It’s been 4yrs since I’ve done this and I cannot remember a thing about what it is I should be looking out for!!

I think you should go back to the hospital as well

Woke up this morning in absolute tears with my back.
I keep getting horrible pains down my legs.
Shooting and aching pains *there*.
Feel like I need to empty my bowels but nothing happens.
On/off cramps between my hips.
Back pain seems tolerable when I sit down but make circle motions with my upper body!
Gonna call my midwife soon and see what she says. 🤷♀️

All of that sounds like labor but the headache sounds concerning. I would go for a check

if you’re feeling like you need to have a bowel movement you’re likely progressing through labor. I’d go back to the L&D and be prepared to be admitted

Since I’ve posted about needing a movement I’ve had two massive blowouts of diarrhoea. I think I’ve convinced myself it’s happening… SOON.

Okay, make that 3. It’s just taken me 15 minutes to get off the toilet!
Please someone tell me I’m not making these symptoms up and they are actually labour related?!

But I’m not in pain with it anymore so don’t really want to be wasting their time or wasting a bed that could be used for a woman who’s really in need. 🤷♀️
