When they go onto cows milk at 12 months. Then just washed bottles with soap & water

If you’ve stopped using formula then you can stop sterilising.

When he turned 1. He still has aptamil, one bottle a night

My daughter is 19months and I still sterilise her bottles

you have to sterilise with formula for aslong as you use it. Bacteria central

It’s not the age, it’s when you stop using formula.

I stopped at about 8 months even though she was still on formula and she was never poorly from it but each to there own

If you’re using formula you still need to sterilise. It’s when you stop that you can stop sterilising the bottles

I stopped at 6 months, figured I use boiling water on the formula when I make it so it’s sterile, either way he’s been fine, each to their own x

I don't really have a reason just like the thought of the bottles definitely being a clean especially the teats

it really is each to thier own. there are thousands of people who stop by a certain age and have happy healthy formula fed babies. My daughter is perfectly healthy. My medical doctor also doesn't seem concerned. I'd be more worried about what she thinks. She told me the fact that my daughter wanders around licking everything and putting in her mouth she's more likely to get sick from something she picks up then her bottle. But this is also if washed properly with hot water and soap and not left sitting to accumulate for hours.

yeah that’s why you make it with boiling water…to sterilise the formula. I’m not storing the formula in bottles, no reason for the bottle it’s self to be sterile when you kill the bacteria with boiling water when you make it. Literally to each their own…what you’re not willing to risk others will, it’s our prerogative 🤷🏼‍♀️
