Turned 3 and no longer listens ?? Anybody else !

My kid does not listen to me at all anymore and has a fallout at the drop of a dime I am exhausted yal 😂😂😂 can anyone relate he’s s whole new kid since turning 3 I’ve been so mentally drained it’s like everything from the time he wakes up until bed has turned into a battle ! I love this kid so much but after this all day I’m just constantly feeling like I need a break and I hate that feeling about my kid ! Anybody have tips or anything.!

Yessss I feel like I’m going crazy!

Idk if you do screen time but I’ve found cutting out screen time to be so helpful. he gets bored so then he plays and wants to help me. But trust me, I still think hes a terrorist lmao i’ve been trying to find new activities for him to do and also cut out all sugar. I didn’t realize how badly sugar was affecting my son until I cut it out

My baby is going to be at his grandparents until Friday they want to keep all the grandkids while they’re on spring break and since my son is in daycare he gets to go too and I’m so going to miss him and I know I’m be calling and getting on their nerves the whole time but I’m like baby thank God for them this week girl I am beat down maybe I can strategize while he’s gone 😂

I’m glad you found some helpful things !! I try to keep it light on the sugar welll… lately he’s eaten pbj pretty often shame on me ! Bc he hasn’t been wanting to eat what I’m cooking, but within the past couple of days I’ve told him no to that and he ends up eating my food after protesting it for a while and ends up liking it 😂 and he does get about an hour of screen time but not always daily I try to do different activities w/ him after he gets out of daycare but some days it’s the tv ! and let him come in and help me w/ diff things too so idk I need to sit and brainstorm !

I could’ve wrote this myself! My mom said idk why they call it terrible twos, it’s the threes that get ya! Feeeeeeling this to my core! Praying it’s a phase. Testing boundaries and patience like it’s her jobbbbbb. I know they are getting more curious too with age so I know that plays a huge factor I think too with just understanding the world more and what they can get away with before mom gets upset. Just know you are not alone and we are out here wondering how long it’s going to last and if it get better. Buuuuuuut. Don’t get me wrong, she still has angel days and more good than bad during the days but when the “threes” are on it’s a whole different kid I swear 😭

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
