I wanted ebf the 6 weeks to have an established supply before I started pumping with the goal of having enough to feed one bottle a day however due to certain circumstances I may need to start doing this earlier.
I’m very conscious of causing an oversupply so what’s the best routine to go about possibly getting enough for one a day without causing too much of an over supply.
If it’s still very much recommended not to at all I’m not opposed to adding 1 formula a day and combi feeding

Around the 4-6 week mark when my baby was sleeping longer through the night, like 4 hours between feedings, and I was super engorged at the time, especially because we make the most milk in the early AM hours…
I started doing this for the MOTN feed: I would put baby on one breast and pump the other. He definitely didn’t need both. And I would consistently have one bag of milk I was freezing per day for my stash. It worked really well for me, and at 6m pp I still have my slight oversupply.
