Hey! I’m a nutrition health coach and can help with ideas. What foods are you getting? I looked up a list and found that they offer: infant cereal, iron-fortified adult cereal, vitamin C-rich fruit or vegetable juice, eggs, milk, cheese, peanut butter, dried and canned beans/peas, and canned fish. Soy-based beverages, tofu, fruits and vegetables, baby foods, whole-wheat bread, and other whole-grain options.
These sound great! I’d go with the products with the shortest list of ingredients, and avoid fruit juices, added sugars and vegetable oils.
I blend together and feed as a purée:
- a meat (BONELESS sardines are very nutritious and affordable) other examples are egg, ground beef, chicken
- a whole grain or root (rice, oats, potato, sweet potato, grits)
- a veggie (zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts)
Breakfast I like to offer whole oats cooked as a porridge with unsweetened apple sauce and whole milk yogurt, or you can cook it with whole milk or soy beverage.
