5 months pp, when does the hair fall end? When does the regrowth start? I’m starting to get bald spots along my hairline and it’s always coming out in huge chunks, I dread hair wash showers now

Oh I’m 5 months pp & it has just started for me too! Not to the point of bald spots though. I will keep an eye on it re the thyroid though thank you!
4 months pp, and the hairloss is just unbearable. Hair wash days are the worst. I hear it starts to slow down when your baby is 10-12 months of age. Hahaha, I'll probably be bald by then. But yeah, PP Hairfall is an absolute nightmare. I totally feel you.
Omg me too! I comb my hair after a hair wash and omg so much falls out. I cleaned my vacuum the other day and I could probably make a wig from what came out if the roller lol
@Anwesha oh no, I think I’ll be the same! To be fair though you don’t see many bald mums walking around so it must not be that bad. 😬🤞

My hairloss was like that and it ended up that I had a thyroid condition caused by pregnancy, it didn't stop until I was medicated. It's been almost two years since my first baby and the regrowth is around 8cm long now. Excessive shedding postpartum isn't normal, get it checked out.
