Sleeping….

Our LO goes to bed between 9:30/10pm and wakes 6:30/7 within an hour of being awake in a morning and after her bottle she always wants to go back to sleep 💤 does anyone else find this happens or are your babies usually awake for the “wake windows” 2hrs + before their next nap? Just wondering if I should be doing anything different to change it.

Mine used to do this when he went to bed at 10ish. Now he goes to bed at 8ish and doesn’t have such a long nap in the mornings and doesn’t fall asleep as quickly as he did before. X

Like above I think she needs longer sleep overnight so an earlier bedtime. Those timings seem really short for a night sleep so she is probs just waking up hungry then continuing her night sleep rather than being properly awake for the day!

@Katie she still wants her 9:30/10pm bottle so I’ll struggle putting her down earlier I’ll be honest. She usually wakes at 6:30/7, has a bottle then sleeps for 45 mins. The during the day has 2 45 min naps and after her 6/7pm bottle goes down till 9:30/10 and has her last one before going down for the night….So I feel she’s definitely getting enough sleep. It’s just her morning wake window is only an hour before her first nap, so wondered if anyone else was the same x

@Hannah did you drop his late bottle and was he ok with it? I feel as she wakes so early, it might be even earlier as she may be hungry?x

My LG is only awake an hour/90 mins in a morning and goes to bed at 7:30/8pm till 7/8am with one feed in the night. Some babies have a nap sooner in a morning there're all different 😊 xx

I read that their wake windows start off shorter in the morning and get longer as the day goes on so that would be right xx

Hi, I did by dividing what he would get at 9/10pm into his day feeds. So he would have an extra oz in each feed to make up for dropping the later feed so he had the same amount of calories in him. Xx
