Co-sleeping

Since hitting the 4 month regression my LOs sleep has been pretty rubbish. Waking every 1-2 hours. This has now been going on for nearly 2 months! When we get to about 4/5am I have been putting her in my bed and she sleeps better. I’m considering just moving to co-sleeping to get through this but I’m worried I will struggle to then get her to love back into her cot. Would really appreciate any advice/ experiences with this

I would recommend co-sleeping. If that’s what’s helping you both sleep; then go for it. - sometimes babies just need the extra comfort. 4 months is also about the time they start teething so there’s a whole lot going on for her that she just needs you and feels more comfortable.

I’ve been bedsharing for 10 months now and in process of transitioning to her own bed (no sleep training, totally baby led change). If u have any questions or want to talk about bedsharing, drop me a message (not a sleep consultant, nor i am selling anything just prefer DMs to comments).

My boy was in our bed for the majority of the time for 6.5 months but for a number of reasons we felt it was time to transition him to his own cot/room at 7 months. I won’t lie it’s been tough but when he has a good night he can sleep up to 10 hours in a single stretch and now has his last feed at 7pm and I won’t nurse him till around 5am/6am.

Cosleep to get the sleep you need for now. Worry about getting her back in her cot later ❤️
