5 month sleep regression

My little girl is 5 months old but she was 5 weeks early. She has always slept like a dream from about 8 weeks old for a solid 6/7 hours a night. The last 2 weeks she is up in the night every 2 hours - sometimes she wants a feed and sometimes she wants a nappy a change. She has started to cry if I'm not quick enough with her nappy change now. She has been fighting her afternoon naps for well over a week or so now. We have varied days but with structure to them, we do classes, swimming , go for walks etc. I know she's tired but she won't sleep. She has just got over a cold so she didn't sleep well then but now she's better. She is teething at the moment so not sure if sleep regression as she would be 4 months if wasn't early or if teething related. I'm exhausted. Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks.

My daughters 5 months old and was 6 weeks early, she’s going through a similar phase, stirring through the night when she was sleeping solidly and fighting day naps or waking up from them too early. I’ve never really payed much attention to wake windows as she would sleep when she needed to wherever she was, in my arms, in the pram, in the car ect but now I’ve been paying a bit more attention to them and found that putting her down for a nap after she’s been awake for two hours and then re-settling her if she wakes from her nap in under an hour has helped with her mood in the day and her night time sleep. Again like you I’m not sure if it’s the 4 months sleep regression as she wouldn’t be 4 months until the 6th of April 🤷‍♀️

@Libby ooo interesting. I was the same she always used to sleep when she needed it but I might try what you have. I find if she misses her 3/4 in the afternoon nap then she's overtired at bedtime and it can become harder to settle her. My little one would be 5 months on 19th of April if she'd been term, she will be 6 months on the 15th. So hard isn't it. She woke up at 5.30 this morning but in such a lovely mood I'm sure she will crash soon 🤦🏻‍♀️
