It depends which route you want to go down I BLW so always given what I have with a few exceptions x

That's the thing I don't know where to start lol x

We do a bit of both methods which works well so a bit of purée and something to try blw style at most meals. Also make sure to get a few pouches of prunes in as they can get constipated quite easily and the prune pouches really help them with that x

My lo wouldnt take purée so I was stumped too weaning the BLW way on fb is a good place to start if you want to go down that route, I don’t recommend solid starts as it offers unsafe and outdated advice x

We also do a bit of both. I tend to do a porridge style "breakfast" sometimes mixed with fruit purees, and a little plain puree after, and a pureed veg mix / meal at "lunch." Then, various finger food throughout the day depending on where we are and what we're eating or doing. Organix weaning wands are great for a first finger food / snack as they melt in their mouths. Also, a good distraction if you're getting close to a feed! My LG loves them:) x

Hey 😊 I have an Instagram account where I've posted lots of weaning tips, ideas for the first few days, loads of recipes I've been using with my little girl - hopefully it helps! I also try to do a lot of baby friendly family recipes so I don't have to cook separate meals for myself and my baby! https://www.instagram.com/_themummylife?utm_source=qr&igsh=MWxvdXYzNGwwaDVuNg== 😊
