Very short nap time?

Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice?

If my boy takes a nap and is woken up in any way (for example: his arm twitches and accidently hits his face or a toy) he thinks his nap time is done.
Doesn't matter what I try after that, he will no longer nap. He essentially resets his wake window and it starts all over again.
It also doesn't matter how long he has been asleep... 5 mins, 15mins, whatever...

He has been doing this his entire life... His most common nap length is between 5 - 24 mins and he will NOT go back to sleep come hail or high water...

Any tips??

No tip. But my daughter does the same thing .. it can be frustrating. I get it . My family jokes that her naps are just a long blink and she’s up and ready to go 😆

thanks, I just get concerned when he clearly looks like he's about to pass out, but unfortunately he closed his eyes for 2 minutes earlier so we know he is never going to nap now... 😅
The only upside to this is that he's extra adorable when he is very tired 🤪

For the breastfeeding moms

What drink should I choose instead of soda? I’ve been drinking a lot of soda and sometimes water, but I want something bubbly to drink while breastfeeding. I don’t like seltzer water or flavored versions. Please help me find a drink.

Anyone else's baby NOT sleeping through the night?

I would never have expected this, but I am seeing so many comments from mums saying that their baby sleeps through the night. It can't just be my baby who is waking up every 1-2 hours? Please say I am not alone...

Sleeping bags

My newborn hates a swaddle of the love to dream swaddle. So was thinking of a sleeping bag.

What tog do you have your baby in that is always a warm baby, rarely cold?
My girl runs hot all the time and normally has a thin blanket on but she is constantly moving so it gets kicked off

Don't know what to do

Hey im a first time mom to my baby girl. she is 20 days old and last night was up most the night. I've had 2 hours sleep total im so tired but she won't sleep at all. She will wake up and have some of a bottle and then when I put her down after burping her she will start crying half an hour later for more. She's on 6 ounces of hungry baby formula. Im just not sure why this is happening. Could it be sleep regression?

Regression struggles

My baby has woken up upwards of 8 times already tonight. Nothing works. I am mentally and physically exhausted. This is week 3 of this and every night is worst than the last. Feeding doesn’t work, rocking works until I try to lie him down, co sleeping doesn’t work. He has a dummy but cannot keep it in his mouth so I have to hold it in. I tried to take it away a few nights ago but he screamed for 3 hours until I gave in.

All day all I think about is how horrific night time will be. I don’t enjoy any of being a mum as I’m consumed by how exhausted I am and how this will only get worse.

Is it a bad thing that my 2 and 1 year old boys sleep in the same bed?

They start the night in separate beds in the same room but my morning my 2 year old has crawled into my 1 year olds crib
