Screaming for milk at night

Does anyone's 21 month still wake up for milk at night ?! Sometimes she sleeps through 7.30-5.30 then has milk and goes back off for a hour or so. Lately she's waking before midnight and I can send her off after some water/juice mostly. This correlates with nursery days(they don't let her drink juice as much so she drinks less). However lately she's demanding milk really early or extra milk throughout the night. If I don't give it she screams for 40 mins until I give in 🤦🏻‍♀️.. I want to break the habit get a full nights sleep! She eats really well in the day breakfast and evening meals are her bigger meals and she has 2-3 snacks a day. She's not teething.. she's well.. just can't understand it. She was BF overnight so maybe it's comfort. I've tired to get her settled in other ways singing rocking patting ect but she full on tantrums!

Oh god! I need the advise myself! My nearly 21 month old asks for milk still! At 1am and again 5am like a new born screaming the house down. I need to stop this but so hard when im so over tired

@Simran I feel you!!! Usually if she just has it once overnight in the morning she'll just ask for juice and not milk so I'm ok with that. I would obviously prefer her to sleep through. But she's not done it very often so I don't really know any better 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Yes!! We’ve just curved it!! He was more than capable to go through without it so I knew he didn’t need it! Was a long week but I point blank refused to give him any! He soon learnt. I won’t lie it was horrible x

Omg could’ve written this myself! My 20 MO is still doing this aswelll. Sometimes the dummy does the trick but recently he won’t go back to sleep unless he has a bottle. He’s still in our bed which is even more confusing as to the comfort side of things… maybe it’s another growth spurt idk at this point honestly 😭

So what do I dooo! Im happy to leave him crying because I know he is safe and clean and well fed but just don’t see a light at the end of this tunnel when he does it.

@Simran if your happy to leave him crying that’s what I did. It was clear he didn’t need it as he often went days without a bottle of milk or anything over night x

@Simran yeah I feel you. I just give it mostly because of my neighbours our walls are paper thin 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 I'd be more stubborn if I was in a detached 🤣🤣

@Alix Thats going to be ittt this weekend!!

@Simran honestly it’s was awful!! But I knew he didn’t need it! Hang in there you’ve got this!! X

Could be a regression, ours lasted 2 months and then he went back to 12 hours sleep and started saying his first words after.

@Galina maybe can't say we've ever had one so we are way over due 🤣 she's never really slept through x
