I’m finding it so hard to find one unless they are over 7 x

How cute that she has a butterfly! 🦋 We opened a Yorkshire Building Society one but it’s passbook only, not online. Not so great for adults managing the money but good for baby as they can have a book that tells them how much money they have.

Halifax have one with high interest you can pay in £100 per month and get 5.5% for the first year. You also get a secondary bank with slightly lower interest but can have more than 100 in each month no age restriction so can open from birth or once registered

Martin Lewis money saving expert website always shows the current best deals

Coventry do a kids isa that they can't get at till 18

Go to Monzo and set up a cash ISA they have great interest rates with goals you can set to x

Halifax 5% I think still I did mine a few months ago Depending how much you can deposit it’s up to £5k in this one I’ve done take off interest as the interest will not work if it’s over £5k plus interest if you know what I mean so I added up the interest over the year and the money to make the 5k in total

Second Yorkshire building society

We have a current account and isa with Santander for both of our children. The child benefit gets paid into the oldest ones account and we split it in half and transfer across to our LG x

We have one with Halifax we opened it last week and it seems to be a good one for him

I never bothered with a saving’s account for my son. I put all his money into premium bonds, and if he wins then the money is automatically reinvested. I’ll leave it all in premium bonds until he’s old enough to decide what he wants to do with it.

Youre better off buying gold coins or bars

NS&I do an amazing ISA scheme. Through government so you know the money is safe and amazing interest rates

We have a stocks and shares ISA for our kids x

We’ve open A junior self-invested personal pension (SIPP) through Halifax for our baby

Yorkshire Building Society is really good

We do the NS&I Premium bonds then his grandparents can put birthday and Christmas money straight in there and hopefully we will have a few wins over the next 18 years to push it up a bit!

We did Monzo too. Hubby and I have our own Monzo accounts and we opened an ISA for our daughter with 4.5% interest. Every time we make a payment towards anything, it takes a percentage of that payment and adds it to her account automatically.
