Mother Groups = Clique?

Just ranting... Went to a mom and me meet-up that was in my area, and it felt like I went back to my high school years with all the clique groups. I'm typically not a shy person unless I feel awkward and not welcomed. I'm not even sure if I want to try again or not. Do any other mommas try mom and me groups in your area with success?

That’s what I’m worried about! I am more shy and introverted but I want my son to have opportunities to socialize and make friends. Im sorry you had that experience

@Dayna, don't be sorry. it's not your fault! I'm thinking my kid will just have an early start to day camps and make friends that way, lol.
