Christmas babies 👶 🌲

How does everyone plan to make their little one feel special when their birthday is on Christmas Day??

How early in advance are we planning their birthday parties?! I’m afraid everything is going to be booked if I don’t book it now 🙃 looking at the weekend after!

My baby was born on Christmas, & my plan is to celebrate a half birthday which is June 25th. & that’s when I’m going to do a birthday party for her. I told her whole family she’s not going to get screwed because she was born on Christmas. But I do plan on doing cake Christmas night each year as well, but she’ll have her Christmas presents Christmas morning, & her birthday presents on her half birthday.

I thought about doing that, but her cousins birthday is 6/25 🙃😂

But everyone is different, & I did that as well because on her dads side of the family there is like 4 peoples birthdays on December & that’s not including her.

maybe you can do your convinced date? Whatever works for you & you’re little one 😊 I was pretty aggravated when mine was born on Christmas, I tried to avoid it, but she wasn’t having it.

My little guy isn't christmas, but the day after, and his cousin is 3 days later. So we will do a family dinner always on his birthday and a party on his half birthday (that way, we aren't competing for parties with his cousin, and summers in alaska are so much better).

I went in to labor early morning Christmas Eve so I just assumed she would be born that day. 26 hours later she was born on Christmas 🙃

I was thinking about doing a half birthday for my Yule baby ♥️☃️ but my family doesn’t celebrate Xmas on the 25th and my partner and I don’t celebrate Christmas. I celebrate Yule and the Winter Solstice

So I’m German we celebrated his birthday on Christmas and Christmas on German Christmas 🥰❤️ I want him to feel special on his special day 🥰

I saw this woman do a “birthday bush” basically a mini Christmas tree decorated with birthday ornaments and the tree topper is a happy birthday candle! All the birthday presents go under the birthday bush. My little one’s due day was Christmas but he was born 12/14. Im also thinking about doing an experience for a birthday present rather than gifts and then Christmas is the only one with tangible gifts.

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?

Thanks
