Hi all. My husband and I have decided to sleep train our daughter because we are slowly losing our minds with sleep deprivation, (no judgement please). She is 6 months and 1 week old. She would be moving from the bassinet in our room to the packnplay (we don’t have a crib) in her own room next to ours. She currently takes all of her daytime naps in her room/packnplay but overnight sleep has always been in our room. My husband is super excited to have our room back to ourselves, but I can’t help but feel so sad.
Any other mamas have words of encouragement or advice? We have a Hatch sound machine, a standard baby monitor, and the Owlet dream sock for oxygen/heart rate notifications.

You’re doing great mama! My oldest is 2 and she still sleeps with us because I felt guilty and didn’t want her on her own at 6mo. With my second she’s officially sleeping in her crib in her room at 6 no and it is honestly amazing. Once they go to bed you have all the time in the world to clean, watch a movie or even shower alone 😂 You always feel guilty but you’re doing the best you can and in the long run it’ll be worth it when they tell you they’re sleepy and just out themselves to bed lol

I was this exact way but me and my husband co slept because our child would not sleep in his halo, so at 4 months in the dot we did sleep training and some don’t like the CIO method but this saved our lives after the third night he did not cry and went right to sleep after about 4 mins up just quiet whimpers ever since then he has slept 12 hours straight in his own crib. We keep a strict schedule for him he gets bottle after daycare about 5 then bath then we do last bottle at 8 burp then bed and he’s out for the count. It’s hard at first but it will be the best feeling to get your room back plus if your LO is already use to the pack and play then I think they will transition just fine!
