I’m about to start the embryo transfer process and all the injections. Any tips or advice going into it? This is my first round. We did the egg retrieval then kept the embryos frozen for 7 months. But now it’s time! and I’m freaking out

Make sure you have a heating pad. The injections are awful, mainly the progesterone. You want to be sure to rub the area after words to help work out the knots. They get worse as time goes on if you don’t get rid of them.

Also, you are super close to me😀

Sorry to be so contradictory 😂🙈i found them totally fine! Wee sting some times (it's a needle, there's going to be) but most are subcut so proper surface level and you hardly feel them. Also do not rub them, that's how you bruise. I didn't use ice or heat but most girls I know used ice packs to numb the area first. Definitely get organised and make sure you know what you're doing before the first one. Make up a little box that's just for them and keep it handy and try and take some of the fuss away. If you're on a mix of tabs and injections, set an alarm for tabs. It's so easy to forget. Best of luck! ❤️

I found the injections totally fine! All bodies are different and react in different ways!
I didn’t feel the need for ice packs or heat packs - I also had a good “get on with it” attitude and I was not a fanny about it
The worst thing about ivf was the pill to bring on your period for the egg collection!! My cramps were INTENSE

IM starting my Egg transfer in on May 4 .. EXCITED BUT NERVOUS
