i’m currently almost 31 weeks pregnant, and my baby has never been very active. she would only wriggle about first thing in the morning and last thing at night, however, since hitting 30 weeks, she’s been very constant. i mean, it’s like she’s trying to claw her way out of my stomach 😂
my ribs are killing (i have been told she’s got long legs), and honestly she’s moving that much, it’s making me nauseous 🤢 ever since yesterday, she pretty much hasn’t stopped moving. getting to sleep last night was a nightmare as she was paling me that hard, she was almost winding me 🥲😅
i never ever want to moan about feeling her move because in my eyes, that means she’s okay BUT the pains i’m experiencing from her now very constant and strong movements aren’t pleasant 😩
has anyone else experienced or is experiencing this? or has she been saving these movements for the last stretch or what!?! 😂

My midwife did say that too much movement I should call the antenatal unit just to see what there opinion is, its probably fine but it’s better to check x

As they get bigger you're more aware of the movements from 30+ weeks mine little girl was a savage 🤣

My baby has definitely felt more active since 30 weeks. I think because she's getting quite big now I'm more aware of her movements throughout the night so it feels like she moves more than she used to. It's getting a bit cramped in there now so the movement is strong and at times painful which will catch me off guard 😅

Please go and get checked asap. I don’t want to worry you with a story relating to baby moving more but please go now to check on him/her xx

please go and get it checked once with your midwife

thank you all for your advice!! ☺️
i would contact my midwife but she only works two days a week, then switches her phone off 😂 so she’s really hard to get in touch with, so i may give triage a call to be safe.
her movements have definitely ramped up, but mainly her routine has changed. i never had these issues with my first so i wasn’t aware of how to tackle it x

I was told you should see triage for ANY change in movement, decrease or increase.

I went in to get checked as my little boy was moving more than usual, he was fine, but I had high BP and had to stay in. So best get checked xxx

thank you!! i’ve just done my blood pressure (i have a machine at home) and my blood pressure is reading low 🤦🏻♀️ i’m not sure how much trust i have in this machine but i did do a few readings and they were all similar xx

thank you!! i’m going to call them now ☺️☺️ xx

My boy is definitely testing his limits when the topic is kicking me haha I did have the same doubts and went to get checked out and all was fine. But the girls are all right in here, is better to be sure then sorry. Good luck

thank you again ladies ☺️
triage want me to visit so i’m going up there now to get checked x

How are you? did you get it checked? hope you and baby are doing well

hey ladies! ☺️
i thought i’d come back to update you all-
i went to triage, got seen straight away, they checked my blood pressure & pulse first which both came back fine. then they hooked me up onto the machine to check baby’s movements and oxygen levels, they left me on it for an hour & everything came back fine ☺️
the midwife spoke to me & said, babies movements can change up until 32 weeks (i turned 31 today) so she’s told me to carry on monitoring baby just incase, but she wasn’t concerned in the slightest.
so all in all, a good outcome 🥰
thank you to you all for your advice! i appreciate it and it just goes to show, calling or going into triage is never a bad idea x
