I went to the hospital for lower abdominal pain and was given Tylenol and Benadryl for pain, it didn’t do anything. They checked my urine and blood, it didn’t show signs of infection. They checked babies heartbeat and it was fine. They also performed a cervical check to see if I was dailated and I wasn’t and did a pelvic examine. I was told to go home unless I was leaking fluid or experiencing contractions. It hurts to move around, change positions in bed and I’ve been needing my s/o assistance a lot. I’ve done some walking and stretching to help with the pain but nothing seems to ease it. I’m not sure what to do anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m 32 weeks pregnant. I just want the pain to go away so I can function like normal without feeling like I’m gonna cry every time I move.

I started feeling this same way yesterday, and I’m right behind you at 31.5 weeks. It kinda feels like trapped gas? I feel pressure in my lower abdomen and it hurts to move around. I tried massaging the area a little and used a heating pad, and it seemed to help a tiny bit. Hope you start to feel better soon!

I'm 32 weeks and I have experienced some pains but nothing to bad they feel like minor cramping normally I take a hot bath or shower or to relieve any weight I lay flat on my back with my legs elevated as if I was sitting on a chair but on my back. It could also be a cause of constipation or trapped gas, before my glucose test I was constipated and it was hurting my bottom left side sometimes so bad I couldn't sleep or the pain woke me up, I found out I had low iron and ever since then Ive had a supplement and I've changed my diet to add more fibers and the pain went away

Please don’t let the drs dismiss your pain. This sounds a lot like what I was feeling when I had appendicitis. The first time I went to the hospital, they couldn’t find anything gave me pain meds and sent me home. Thank goodness I listened to my body and went back by ambulance because by the time they finally found out what was wrong I was a couple hours away from my appendix bursting and that’s all bad. If you are in that much pain call the ambulance and get back to the dr. Pain at that level should never be dismissed. Have them check your appendix.

second this though. Just had my appendix nearly rupture last week and they diagnosed me with “Braxton Hicks” until last minute the on call doctors switched and the next decided to run an ultrasound on my gallbladder and appendix! It was so close to me going home thinking nothing was wrong
