Induction day

Not been induced myself but am booked for one in 11 days if she doesn’t come first. Just wanted to say all my friends/family that have been induced have had a really positive experience and everything was absolutely perfect for both them and the baby x

My hospital always fob me off when I go in with reduced movements like the monitors been fine yes but I feel like they don’t take me seriously

ohh sorry that you’ve had bad experience with your hospital. Been really lucky I’ve had good experience with mine so far like they do listen x

I had a really really good induction, nothing happened for 23.5 hours, no symptoms at all apart from a tiny bit of cramping and loose stools, then my waters broke with no further interventions and contractions started straight away, they came thick and fast and Lottie was born 3 hours later with no other interventions and no pain relief until has and air when I needed to push her head out

I was induced yesterday with the pessary, first tablet inserted yesterday morning worked and I had tightenings and went to 1cm dilated cervix was soft, then had the second tablet early hours this morning but nothing more with that one, I then had the last one and started having two contractions every ten minutes but then they settled and when checked and assessed again I was still only 1cm dilated but they could of broken my waters if I wanted them too, I chose not too incase I still didn’t dilate and only having 2 hours sleep in 48 hours I was shattered and in pain only having codeine and paracetamol so I asked for a c section which I have booked for tomorrow morning ☺️xx
