Reoccurring constipation

Ever since starting solids at least two times a day my little girl keeps getting constipated. Most of the fruits and prune juice don’t help with it. Is there anything preventative I could give her? Literally prunes, apples, anything with natural laxatives don’t do anything for the poor thing. And I’ve tried two of the constipation support natural medicines and nothing. Swear she gets constipated at least once a month and I always end up needing to give her a suppository which I absolutely hate. 😭

stupid question but have you tried apple and pear juices? Nothing worked for me except the juices, not the actual fruit

Same thing happened with me with my firstborn. The pediatrician would just recommend prunes and fiber. He was a very picky eater and it was difficult to get him to eat what I wanted him to. Eventually, he associated pooping with pain and tried holding it whenever he got the urge. When he was 2 or 3, his pediatrician finally recommended we go to a pediatric GI and it was about a year until we got a handle on it with supplements appropriate for his age. All that to say try to resolve it before your baby makes an association and if the pediatrician isn't paying it proper attention, push.
Kiwi and red dragon fruit are helpful as well.

This happened to my daughter but I got the constipation ease stuff from MommyBliss and it worked. I stopped giving her anything with oats in it and later graduallly introduced it again. You can give a little bit of Gerber pear juice mixed with half water or 1/3 pear with the rest being water. The constipation ease did wonders for my girl when she got constipated. Also give them probiotic daily in their bottle. Always also start the day with prune baby food

If you put a teaspoon of karo syrup in her milk bottles 1-2 times a day for at least 3 days it should help baby girl regulate 🤞🏾 worked for my oldest twin

We use pink stork probiotics and unsweetened applesauce everyday and it has made a world of difference because my son had such a hard time after starting solids and would go 2 days without and it be so hard for him.

Are you giving water also? Once they start solids they need a couple ounces of water per day to help prevent constipation.

Prunes , apples, pears and plums helped my baby girl… I even add prunes to her milk until she has a movement. I recommend getting the REAL prunes possibly from a organic grocer like Whole Foods or Sprouts
Miracle worker! Oh also give water after and during solid intake

My pediatrician suggested 2-4oz of water as well as the fruits. She said it can make a huge difference.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
