I'm due to have my 2nd baby in 2 weeks time. I'd love to hear some positive 2nd time birthing experiences - I'm having crippling anxiety thinking about giving birth again, and worrying it'll be the same and if not worst than 1st time around 😩

I am pregnant with my fourth due to have him in 3 weeks and I am the same just come on me all of a sudden the anxiety. What I will tell you is my 2nd birth was the absolute best and most loveliest easier labour ever but then my last baby my 3rd was awful so I just can’t gauge it properly but I think the anxiety will be the same for labour no matter how many we have doll🙄x

First labour was traumatic and i had PTSD for about 6 months after, but second labour was so much easier... knew what to expect, and it was much faster

My first labour was definitely not great, I was induced and the nurses didn’t let me labour how I needed/wanted so I was VERY anxious with my second, but baby #2 was a planned home birth because they anticipate a faster delivery and sure enough I had been in early labour all day but no consistent or strong contractions so I thought it was false labour. My water broke at 1:12am, the midwives got there at 1:45ish I was 7cm, at 2 my body started pushing on its own, they checked me I was 10cm, my daughter was born at 2:20am with no complications, I fed her and we were napping by 4am, at 6am I was walking around the house looking for food while hubby got to cuddle the baby 🤣
